This is my take on the perfect holiday party look. I'm crazy for this sheer blush dress and would layer it over a nude satin slip dress to complete the look. A spritz of my favorite scent and I'm good to go. Question is: go with a top knot, messy waves or sleek ponytail?

As some of you may know, my fiancé and I have been engaged for over two years now. We got engaged right before my dad passed away, so the wedding planning got put on the back-burner. It's been hard to think of having a wedding without my dad being around, but we've finally come around to feeling excited about it again and are slowly starting to make plans. Artist sisters Laura Naples and Kristen Giorgi of NG Collective caught my eye in the latest issue of Domino. Their whimsical paintings and impeccably styled homes are full of endless inspiration. Plus, I love how Laura and Kristen's personal style reflects their design tastes.

I was happy to find they have an online store full of their creations. As soon as I saw the pastel and black painting (2nd photo), I had to get my hands on it. I've been on the move, so I can't wait to find a space for the piece in my next home. I'll make sure to share when I do!
